I was wondering if the timing at the Lebanon and Legacy light had changed recently? As a daily commuter on this route I find that the northbound Legacy backup is noticeably longer during the PM rush. If the timing has not changed, than the traffic volume has noticeably increased, which seems a surprise to me given the tollway being open now.

We have not changed the timing of the traffic signal at Lebanon and Legacy. However, we have noticed a change in the traffic pattern. A new northbound right-turn lane on Legacy at Warren Parkway opened to traffic a few weeks ago. This has improved traffic flow on northbound Legacy at that intersection, which means that more traffic is reaching the Legacy and Lebanon intersection than before.

We will see if we can make some adjustments to the traffic signal at Legacy and Lebanon to accommodate the increased northbound traffic. Significant changes may have to wait until the large, coordinated retiming effort we have planned for multiple traffic signals across the City in the Fall.
