Why is there a sign for Pizza Hut Park on the frontage road of DNT as you are coming up to Eldorado? Seems it should be a mile south.

The sign was added recently as part of several new guide signs directing traffic in and out of the area around Pizza Hut Park. During largely attended events, we are working with NTTA to let motorists know they can use the Eldorado exit as an alternate route to Pizza Hut Park to avoid congestion at Main Street. This sign is in place to direct the motorists who take the alternate exit.

Brian, are you referring to the tall permanent LED sign?

Brian C,

No, the tall LED sign was installed by Pizza Hut Park to advertise events at their venue. Brian Moen was referring to the multiple green roadside guide signs that we installed in and around Pizza Hut Park. Some signs direct people towards Pizza Hut Park from surrounding roadways, while others are on internal Pizza Hut Park roadways that guide visitors to the Tollway, Preston Road, etc. These signs are designed to help with the large traffic flows we experience during big events and therefore are positioned in places where traffic will need to find alternative routes into and out of the Park (i.e, not using Main Street).
