What are the plans regarding Grand Park? It has been a while since anything has been said about the park progress.

The project continues to move forward. The architects and engineers are working on the design plans for the buildings and the playground areas. Staff has had several meetings with the USACE over the past couple months in an effort to gain the approvals for the construction of the lakes.

Seems like the plans have changed a lot over the years. It looks like the actual park area has gotten smaller. Is this true and what is the reasoning behind this?

Tracy,

Thanks for your note regarding Grand Park. In terms of its size, Grand Park has not decreased in size since the initial planning and acquistion took place in 2005.

I hope that this has helped to address your question. If you have any additional questions regarding this, please don't hesitate to let me or our staff know.

Thanks again,
