New medians are going in on Lone Star Ranch Pkwy off of Lebanon and I wanted to verify sod will be put in in these medians? I know back when they widened west lebanon (near teal intersection and between lone star ranch neighborhood) they only lined the median with sod and allowed weeds to fill in the rest. Also, will trees be added to these medians as well?

The Frisco ISD is constructing a portion of Lone Star Parkway including the medians and will be placing sod. More extensive landscaping and irrigation may be included on a future capital project pending available funding.

all the pretty flowers along Parkwood are gone, are there plans to replace them?

I always enjoyed the seasonal changes, just wondering

Ms. Gutierrez,

Thanks for your note regarding the planting of seasonal flowers along Parkwood. I believe that you might be referring to the section of Parkwood, that is found north of Lebanon Road, near Warren and Gaylord Parkway.

The medians and right of way areas near the Stonebriar Mall area are maintained by the Frisco Bridges Owners Association and not the City of Frisco. I will need to check with this group to see if I can verify whether they are intending to landscape this area with new color.

I will post a follow up on this once I get some verification.

Thanks again for your note.
