Yes, but currently in the second bond fund it is not budgeted. You can go to the Cities web page under Planning and look at the Thoroughfare Plan.
If you need further information please advise, at 972-335-5585-129.

By the way, When is Lebanon form Dallas Parkway (Tollway) to Legacy going to be a 4 lane street. The lanes start out as 4 lanes at Lebanon/Tollway then goes to 2 lanes at Starwood?

Thanks for the post Bking. The design for that section of Lebanon is complete and the city is working on acquiring the necessary right of way to construct the road. It is anticipated to start construction in approximately 4 months and take 3 months to complete. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me at (972) 335-5585 ext. 127.

Thanks, Hulon

What is the status on expanding Lebanon to 4 lanes from Starwood to Legacy?

It doesn't look like any construction has begun.

Thanks.

Thanks Paul for the post. The design plans are currently being revised in response to an adjacent property owners request in conjunction with acquiring the necessary right-of-way. Once this process is complete the project will be advertised for bidding. It is now anticipated to start construction early next year (February - March) and be complete by summer.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me at (972) 335-5585 ext. 127.

Thanks, Hulon

Thanks Suresh for the post. Staff is currently working with a consultant on the design of Lebanon from Heritage Lakes to a 4 lane divided roadway. As stated by the City Engineer in his 6/8/05 post, the road is currently unfunded. If a proposed bond election is approved by City Council, then the citizens of Frisco will vote whether or not to approve funding for roads sometime early this summer. If the roads package is approved by the voters, construction could begin before the end of the year.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me at (972) 335-5585 ext. 127.

Thanks, Hulon

Paul,

The construction you are seeing is actually for a 20" diameter sanitary sewer line. The developers for Lone Star Ranch and surroudning properties are constructing this line to meet the build-out needs for this portion of Frisco.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact the Engineering Services Department at 972-292-5400.

Thanks,

I have heard that Lebanon, east of FM 423, will be widened from 2 to 4 lanes in 2007. What are the details on this? Thanks.

Mr. Sukhu,
The design for that stretch of Lebanon is completed. We are in the process of obtaining Right-of-Way. This project should go to construction this spring.

Mr. Lacefield,

This project will widen the road to four lanes. From 4th Army, back to the East to where there are 4 existing lanes, lighting will be added.

Thanks
