Are their any plans in the future, next bond election to add streetlights down legacy from warren to main street? What is the determining factors for adding streetlights? I have seen many new streetlights installed in areas where their is little development. Why were streetlights not installed when legacy was completed to 4 lanes?

Thanks for the post Bking. The reason you see street lights on new roadways in areas where there is little development is that the City starting requiring back in late 2000 that they be installed with divided road construction. As in the case of the section of Legacy you are referring to, it was constructed prior to this requirement.

Currently the design for the street lights down Legacy from Warren to Main Street is underway and will take approximately 2 months to complete. After which the City will ask city council to either amend the budget or include in next year's budget for construction.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me at (972) 335-5585 ext. 127.

Thanks, Hulon
