I know that the new light at El Dorado and Teel was to help those on Teel to turn onto El Dorado. However, this seems to have actually made traffic worse. Morning traffic on eastbound El Dorado is typically bumper to bumper from Teel to 423. A lot of the drivers seem to be turning south onto Teel. What is the possibility of creating a turnlane from eastbound El Dorado to southbound Teel even if it is temporary? This could increase the number of cars through the intersection and allow for Teel to have more time as well.

I agree that a right-turn lane would help, but making that improvement is not cost effective given the upcoming reconstruction of the road that is expected to begin next spring.
