Does the city have an ordinance in place that regulates homeowner tree maintenance? One of our neighbors has a Weeping Willow tree in their backyard that hangs over the fence into the alley. They're non-responsive to the many requests to have the branches trimmed. Is there a minimum branch height requirement to protect drivers from the obstruction caused by the branches?

Yes, the City does have regulations regarding clearance in alleys. Please call Code Enforcement at (972) 335.5580, #188 and provide the address for inspection. Code Enforcement attempts to gain voluntary compliance from homeowners before issuing citations.
