In the evenings, there seems to be an issue with drivers merging last minute from the 2 left lanes on Parkwood just north of Warren. I don't know if this is due to aggressive driving or lack of knowledge of the reduction of lanes. The signs for the reduction of lanes are very close to where the lanes merge. Is there any way to place the signs so that drivers are provided more advance awareness of the lane reduction?
Also, what is the timeframe for the expansion of Parkwood to a multi-lane road from Warren to Lebanon? This is a highly traveled route during rush-hour.
Lastly, are there any plans to extend Parkwood south of 121 to meet up with Parkwood just north of Headquarters?

I will review the spacing of the signs, but we have the MUTCD that the signs are set by and is an nationally recognized reference standard book. The City has an agreement with the adjacent property owners that when they develop it is there responsibility to build the roadways. The City is preparing the list for the next bond sale and all the roadways are being reviewed. Parkwood South of SH 121 is in Plano and it is dependent on development. They have given us no time line for that to be built.
