There is a green belt that crosses Old Shepards way between Gunstream and Wester schools. There has been a problem with the soil washing onto the sidewalk and street on both sides of the road for a long time. Will the correct department please sod the area so that it will not do this? The new power lines are up but I don't think this was a factor in the erosion.

The Parks Department checked the area and the electric company putting in the new poles has placed rock along the curb to gain access to the area. Parks talked to one of the Street Supervisors and he said they had the same complaints on two streets in Plantation, but the electric company did clean it up when they were completely finished with their construction. When their construction is complete either Parks or Streets can address the erosion area with new sod or curlex.
