I recently return from the Houston area. While in the area I visited Moody Gardens in Galveston and Kehma. Instead of the baseball, hockey, and socccer business. Why dont we develop something that will draw families while in the DFW area that is not sports related and seasonal? Moody Gardens was very educational. If Galveston can do it surely Frisco can! And are thier any plans for something like a putt putt go cart part being built? We can shop and eat here but thier is not alot else to do or see!

Planning Department staff have talked with a number of people about the possibility of private recreational facilities over the past year or so. To date no one has gone to the next step of actual proposing a project. There are a number of locations in Frisco where this type of business would be permitted but again no one has come forward to pursue such a project. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me directly at singalls@ci.frisco.tx.us. Thank you.
