On three different occasions, I have been held up by the train for a long period of time. On 2 of the occasions, both my husband and I were late to work by 30 minutes, as well as my son missing the daycare bus. Is there something that can be done about when the train comes through town? The train is just completely stopped (no movement) and it's during rush hour traffic (7:00 a.m.). This is very frustrating.

The law allows the railroad to block an intersection for no more than 10 minutes. Please call 972.335.5505 with any violations while it is occuring. The responding officer will need to witness the violation in order to issue a citation.
