Has the city stopped producing the "Focal Point" newsletter/magazine? The last one online is from November - and I have not seen one delivered to my home in several months either.

Thanks

The City continues to produce Focal Point on a monthly basis; however, due to the holidays we do not print a January edition. As you note, our December issue is currently not on-line. We will rectify the situation and apologize for any inconvenience. Our February edition will be distributed February 16, as scheduled. If you would like to contact me regarding your home delivery issue, I would be happy to research the problem.
Thank you for your inquiry.

How can I sign-up for home delivery?
I've lived in Frisco for over a year at Hunters Creek subdivision and I've not had one delivered.

You should not have to "sign up" to receive Focal Point, since it is an "insert" in the Total Market Coverage (TMC) edition of the Sunday Frisco Enterprise. The free, TMC paper is designed to be delivered to all area homes, regardless of whether one subscribes to the newspaper or not. I will pass along the name of your subdivision to the newspaper's circulation department with hopes of correcting the problem. Again, thank you for your inquiry.

Sincerely,

I live in Windsor Place and I've never received the Focal Point. How can I receive the TMC edition of the Sunday Frisco Enterprise?

A free, Sunday edition of the Frisco Enterprise is distributed on the Sunday following the second Friday of the month. As for those of you have responded, pointing out you have not received our newsletter, via the TMC edition of the Frisco Enterprise, I have forwarded your subdivisions to Rick Mann, editor of the Frisco Enterprise. He is working with the newspaper's circulation department to correct the problem. Again, thank you for bringing these issues to our attention.

Sincerely,

You can add Westfalls Village to that list also.

You can also add Lakes of Preston Vineyards Village, we've never received a complimentary copy of anything from The Frisco Enterprise and we've been here nearly two years.

Was there a February edition of Focal Point? How about March? Also what is this Frisco Enterprise? Still not seen this at Hunters Creek.

Dear Anonymous,
There were February and March Focal Point Editions. These are also available on the City of Frisco website. Please contact Rick Mann at the Frisco Enterprise Newspaper Office (469) 633-7777 to inquire about your free copy.

Dear Anonymous,
Focal Point continues; however, we are in a transition phase as we work with the Frisco Enterprise to correct recent circulation problems. While we have not finalized an exact distribution calendar, we have decided combine the June & July editions for distribution at the end of June, just prior to our July 4 Frisco Freedom Fest. The reason for this is we are attempting to return to a "first of the month" print/circulation schedule. The Enterprise has also agreed to distribute Focal Point by mail. By doing this, we hope to do a better job of ensuring every household receives the city's newsletter. And, for the first time, this system will enable us to deliver to post office boxes and apartment complexes.

As for recent editions, you can find them on-line...with the exception of the May edition. We are in the process of getting it on-line, as we were using a substitute webmaster for several weeks while our regular webmaster took some time off. We appreciate your patience in this.

Again, we hope to have a distribution schedule soon. In the meantime, we are confident we have found solutions to our past circulation issues.

If you have any further questions, please call me at 972-335-5555 ext. 126 -- or e-mail me at dbaird@ci.frisco.tx.us

Sincerely,

Dana Baird
