I remember reading something about the "Technology plan" in Frisco. I remeber thinking how happy I was to be moving to Frisco (being a tech geek).

Well, I'm here, just moved to the phase two section of Shepherd's Hill, and I'm unable to find a single provider of broadband (other than satellite) in my area.

What city plans, or any other plans, are there that might help me out?

Thanks for the interest-the Information Technology Master Plan is basically finished and is just waiting on final review and adoption. It is a fairly complex system of actions that will likely take several years to fully implement, but if you will send to me via email your address and telephone number, I will check with my contacts at the different providers to see if satellite is truly your only option. I can be reached at jgray@ci.frisco.tx.us.

Thanks-
