I know this happens every holiday...we know that trash pickup will be moved up or back depending on the length of the holiday and when it falls, but why aren't there EVER any signs indicating the trash schedule? I actually saw ONE sign for the Labor Day schedule on the corner of Hillcrest and Rolater, but the schedule of the days was covered over by masking tape. Why is there such a shortage of signs? This is so frustrating!!

My apologies for any inconvenience caused. Every effort is made to get the word out through the local newspaper, website, neighborhood signs and office voice mail. In January of this year we implemented a new program that we believe will make things easier to follow. If your regularly scheduled trash/recycling day falls on a holiday your service will be moved forward one day. ie. Monday moves to Tuesday, Tuesday to Wednesday, Wednesday to Thursday, Thursday to Friday etc.
Routes are only affected during the holiday week.
This program will not change. If you have any suggestions that might help us to provide better communication with the Frisco community please give me a call at 972-335-5519. I would be delighted to look into them. Pippa Couvillion, Environmental Services Manager.
