We recently enrolled our child in the Beary Best Academy; and every night at pick-up time, I am amazed at the number of parents who drive up and park on both sides of the fire lane causing congestion in the driveway. I'm not talking about parking under the covered awning either, they are just parking right in the middle of the street. And it's not like it saves them anything; there are plenty of parking spaces, and the fire lane is only separated from the parking lot by a 3-foot wide median. Is this an issue to bring to the attention of the Fire Marshall or to the Police Chief?

I'll pass it along to our officers. Thanks

We have posted notices outside and also inside our lobby entrances stating it is illegal to park in the fire lanes, middle of the road and handicap spaces (without a permit). We have a monthly newsletter and we will "once again" remind parents not to park in these places.
I have asked all staff to park closest to the street so there are more spaces opened up for parents to park. I hope this helps!
