Writing to inquire about the blantant waste of water resources on Parkwood Blvd North of Warren. Apparently, the intent is to give all passing Northbound traffic a free car wash while passing; however, is there any restriction on superfluous watering, especially when the system is directed directly at the roadway?

Dear Anonymous,

Thank you for your comments regarding the irrigation systems along Parkwood Boulevard within the Frisco Bridges area.

The operation and maintenance of the irrigation systems within the Frisco Bridges area are controlled by the Frisco Bridges Owners Association.

Our staff has contacted the maintenance company that is responsible for this maintenance to make them aware of this problem. We will also ask that they perform an audit on all of their street systems to ensure that they are operating properly.

Should you have any further questions in this matter, please feel free to let me know.

Sincerely,

Rick Wieland
