Is there a recommended place to dispose of Anti-freeze in Frisco?
Some places say to put it down the drain... but only if there is a sewage treatment plant.

Please do not put it down the storm drain. We have a Household Hazardous Waste Center where you can bring your old antifreeze. It is located at 6726 Walnut Street, Hours of Operation Saturdays 8 a.m. - 12 noon. You may also schedule an appointment for drop-off during the week by calling 972-335-5558. Directions to center, from Preston Road travel west on Hwy 720 then turn north right onto 2nd Street (about 1 1/2 miles from Preston) We also accept used motor oil and filters, paints, solvents, and much more. For more info call 972-335-5558. Thank you for recycling responsibly. Pippa Couvillion, Environmental Services Manager.

Last week, I took my used antifreeze and oil to Frisco's recycling center next to Public Works at 6726 Main St. While I was there, I helped myself to compost and mulch for my garden. They are open on Saturday mornings. This is a great service offered by the City.
