Jason, I appericate your responce to this I hope to see the street lights as of the danger of a odd street aligement make for unaware drivers have great difficultity at night. On the cell phone issues since as a customer we seem to have a limited impact can you talk to the right person there to voice our concern over reception in the west frisco area. I have sprint along with many others in my area that are having this same problem. Or is there a name of someone I can directley contact at sprint?

I will relay that I am hearing about reception complaints from this area of Frisco to the real estate people that I deal with, but I have to admit as this is not a municipally regulated service in any way, I do not have a great contact to make available. Regardless, I will be happy to do everything in my ability to make the issue known.

What are the plans for street lights on FM720? We recently moved here prior to builing our home I never really came out here at night. Now since we have moved in 720 is very dark. I live in the Windsor Place addition and you cant even see where to turn into the addition on Commonwealth going either direction on 720. I have addressed this with the builder as far as lighting the entrance to the addition. But how about street lights on 720. Once all of thse home are built up it is going to be a very busy artery in the city. Presently it is very poorly lit all the way from FM423 to the tollway. I think it can be very dangerous at night. This is my 2nd time writing about this issue. Thank You.

Thank you for the question.

Below is text from a previous response regarding this issue along Lebanon.

We are working on the street light issue. Most arterials in Frisco do not have dedicated street lighting. Costs for streetlights were not included in previous bond programs. We have been successful adding some street lighting here or there where there are overhead utilities running. We are also currently requiring developers to escrow money for streetlights along arterials that they build.

There are plans for permanent lighting along all of our arterials (including FM720). We do not have a definite date yet on when the improvements will be made. We are trying to get some money in the next bond election for street lighting on existing roadways.
