About 10 years ago, the railroad tracks were improved on Main Street (near downtown). However, they are again becoming very rough on cars. The same problem is happening on the tracks south of Main on Dallas Parkway. There is a system that levels out as you drive over it creating a smooth drive. Who is responsible for the Main Street and Dallas Parkway railroad tracks and can the city coordinate getting these fixed.

BNSF Railway is responsible for all maintenance including tracks within the railroad right-of-way and that includes Main Street and Dallas Parkway. We can only request that railroad maintenance is needed.
