Any updated on the improvements at the Lebanon/FM423(Main st) intersection to improve traffic flow.
I see that there are signal lights setup for a divided road towards Lebanon and Boyd at their intersection with Main for quiet some time but are not opened up so far.

I'll attempt to answer your question by informing you of plans to upgrade state highway FM423. TxDOT (Texas Department of Transportaion) is currently working on plans to widen FM423 to 6 thru lanes (3 in each direction). We have reviewed the plans to relocate the traffic signals on FM423 at Lebanon Rd., Main Street and FM720 (the Y intersection in Little Elm). These signals will be relocated to accomodate the state widening project for FM423. Once the roadway is widened, permanent traffic signals will be constructed at these locations and at Stonebrook Pkwy. The state hopes to bid this project next year.

The City of Frisco turned on a new traffic signal at Lebanon Road and Teel Pkwy approximately a week ago. This signal will improve traffic flow on Lebanon Rd, but until FM423 is widened, it will remain extremely dificult to move three lanes of northbound traffic coming out of The Colony in a single lane at Lebanon Rd. We will continue to make adjustments in the signal timing to handle the traffic in the afternoon peak, but bear in mind that FM 423 will remain over capacity until the state widening project is complete.
