I was wondering if there were any ordinances for having dog(s) in a restaurant/cafe with outdoor patio.

I would also like to know about in a shopping center, supermarket, or events (anywhere people food may be served).
Thank you.

Live animals may not be allowed on the premise of a food establishment except: fish in aquariums; patrol dogs accompanied by Police; service animals that are controlled by the disabled person; confined or caged animals in areas not used by food or dining; or pets in institutional care facilities that are present outside of meal times. Further, a pet animal may be present in an outdoor area that is not under the control of a food establishment such as tables and chairs in public areas not otherwise regulated by an ordinance prohibiting such. Please be advised, the City of Frisco has an Animal Control Ordinance that may have more details regarding businesses and areas in general where animals are regulated. You may reach the Code Enforcement and Animal Control Supervisor, Sharon Elliott, by contacting 972.292.5370.
