Teel Bridge has looked complete for over a week. New sod has been put down and the road has been re-striped. Any idea as to when construction barrels will be removed to open up the remaining lanes?

The project should be recieving the final walkthrough from the inspectors this week, and then opening as soon as the identified punch list items are corrected.

Any idea what is taking so long? It would have been nice to have this opened up before school starts. Everything seems to be fnished. AND on a separate note, what is the status of a traffic light being installed at The Trails Pkwy & Teel? If will be extremely difficult to get out of the Trails in the morning to turn left (north) out of the Trails subdivision. Busses will be entering and people coming into the Trails for Corbell Elem. People will be trying to get out for Griffin MS and Wakeland. It was a nightmare before Corbell opened - I can't imagine how much worse it will be now.

Please refer to the response in a similar thread about Teel bridge concerning completion schedule.

Regarding your second question:

The traffic signal for Teel and Trails is currently under design. Once the design is complete next month, the project will be put out for bids and construction will begin. We expect the signal to be operational by March 2007.
