Other cities such as Dallas,Carrollton allow you
to put these items and the curb and are picked up
once a week. Why does Frisco not do this also?
If you don't have a pickup truck, it is unrealistic to transport such items in a car to the drop off facilites.

Thanks

We are very proud of our neighborhoods and think you would agree that Frisco is a very clean city. Unsightly trash at the curb is not what our resident's expect or are used to. We do have a program that will pick up your unwanted items for free. Residents must call CWD, 972-392-3900 our contractor, to arrange pick up. This free collection is available on one Saturday of the month depending on what section of town you live in.
I noticed that your username is movetofrisco, it sounds like you may be one of our many new residents - so a very warm welcome.

If you are in the process of moving in and have cardboard boxes that you need picked up please give us a call. CWD provides a free one time pick at no charge.

Another added bonus, Frisco's residential rates have not changed for eight years and we have one of the lowest rates in the Metroplex, Dallas and Carrollton are both higher.

Please don't hesitate to call if you have further questions.

Pippa,

Environmental Services has done an outstanding job over the years making Frisco residents aware of recycling. Any chance this expertise could be brought to bear on water usage?

I am very grateful for the support Frisco residents have given to the recycling program. I believe our residents recognize that it is something they can do for the good of the community as well as the environment. Our water situation provides the same opportunity. Hopefully residents will respond to the city's need to conserve and in doing so help us ensure that this precious commodity, that we all take so much for granted, is availble for future citizen use.

Thanks again for your support
