We have a commercial zoned area next to our residential area that in the near future, will have 5 tenants/businesses. When if any, is a wall required for separation to limit noise, light and traffic? This is at the southwest corner of FM423 and Lebanon Road.

At the time the commercial properties immediately adjacent to residential properties develop, the commercial developer will need to comply with the City’s screening ordinance. Typically, this includes a solid screening wall, but could also include a combination of fencing and landscaping, where appropriate, with approval by the Planning & Zoning Commission.
