Will the development of Coit north of Main street extend beyond Eldorado to Westridge? Thank you for your response. BTW - I read the Q&A often and y'all are doing a great job!

We are currently working on the design to widen Coit Rd to 4 lanes from Main St to north of Eldorado Pkwy to connect to the pavement that was constructed in front of Maus Middle School.

The next Coit project would extend to Panther Creek Pkwy/Westridge; however, that project is not currently scheduled.

As a follow up to Jason's post:

North of Maus Middle School, the east half of what will become Coit Road is actually in the City of McKinney. We are aware that a new residential subdivision is in the process of being developed in that area in McKinney. Once development starts, the developer will be building the east half of Coit Road up to Westridge Blvd, and building the south half of Westridge from Coit eastward to connect to the existing segment of Westridge. We have not been given a date as to when that will take place, but apparently it will occur in the next year or so (well before the City of Frisco has a project to build the west half of Coit Road).
