Is it lawful to tape an ad to residents' mailboxes?
Every mailbox in our subdivision (Westfalls Village) has a business ad taped with very sticky tape. When I removed it, it left a residue and also peeled off a little bit of paint from my mailbox. I have an official no solicitation sign visibly placed on my property.
Is there anything that can be done to stop this?
Thank you.

Please call the police department's non-emergency number at 972.292.6010 to report solicitor's in your neighborhood, or if you would like to file a complaint against the company that taped the ad to your mailbox please call this number and ask to speak with the desk officer. Thanks.
