It seems that the potholes on coit seem to growing in numbers and bigger than before. No sooner the city seems to fix them than newer one keep comeing up and the rains don't see to have helped.
Can the city find a better solution to this problem? It almost seems like you are trying to fix a fracture with bandaids?
I also understand that you are waiting for funding for this project. But how does the city decide funding for projects. I see roads that are barely used constructed ( panther creek east of tollway) and then roads like this that seem to see a lot more traffic still undeveloped?
I have been living in the area in the last 6 years and have seen no sign of the city trying to improve upon this road.
I am sure my frustration is shared by many living in the Panther creek estates and Willow bay area of Frisco.
I would appreciate it if you could adress our concerns and if possible try to find out if at least the whole road can be laid as an asphalt road before the site finds funding to make it a concrete road.
Thanks.

Aneetha:

We continue to monitor and repair potholes on this section of Coit Road daily if necessary. The City of Frisco and Collin County will work together to make long term improvements until a new concrete section can be completed. We hope to begin the joint project in May, 2010. Thanks for your concerns. If you have additional questions, please call me at 972-292-5810.
