The sidewalk on the south side of Lebanon ends at the lot to the West of the Sonic and then begins again in front of the Sonic. Are there any plans to extend that sidewalk to provide full coverage on the south side of Lebanon??

Sidewalks are typically constructed on a property as it is developed. In this case, development has not occurred on these lots.

There are cases where we use general fund money to construct sections of missing sidewalk. I will have this section of sidewalk added to our list. Each year we review this list and determine what will be built with the available funding. Sidewalks along walking routes to schools are given priority over other missing sections of sidewalk.

I was curious if there are any plans to complete the sidewalk on the north side of Lebanon from Lone Star Ranch to 4th army with the street widening construction. As of right now LSR foot traffic is stranded.

Hi, is there a plan to build a sidewalk along Lebanon from Hunter Creek Trail to Rock Creek Lane? Not all of this land seems to be privately owned. For example, there seems to be patches of government property (like the bridge over the creek) along this stretch of road.

Without sidewalks connecting Lone Star Ranch to the rest of Frisco, the area residents are forced to drive their motor vehicles to travel short distances.

The bridge being constructed as part of the Lebanon does include a sidewalk; however sidewalks will not be constructed on the remainder of the project. As Brian stated in his previous reply, sidewalks are typically constructed when property is developed. We will add your requested locations to our list of future sidewalk construction.
