Got a question about the bridge over the railroad tracks on Eldorado, near Warren Park.

I've noticed that when driving Eastbound over the bridge, there is a considerable dip in the connection from the land based road to the actual bridge road. Has this dip always been there? I don't remember it being that bad, and I am wondering if it is worsening? I'm talking about where at the top of the hill as the street meets the bridge.

Per Cissy Sylo, Director of Engineering:

No (the dip has not always been there), but the City will be removing this section of roadway along with several other sections and replacing them with new pavement of existing eastbound lanes when it expands Eldorado from DNT to Preston to six lanes. This project is expected to bid in mid-2008 and take about 18 months to construct.
