Is there any current plans for a Costco in Frisco? If so what location?

Thanks

Jason,

At this point in time we have not received any applications that include a CostCo Warehouse. There are probably plans under discussion at this time but no application has been made.

Scott,

I had read somewhere - possibly along the rumor mill line that we were getting a Costco on the NW Corner of Eldorado and the DNT. Since this does not appear to be the case from your previous post, is there somewhere that we can go online to see what business' have purchased parcels/plats in specific areas of the city? i.e. DNT/Eldorado and DNT/W Main.

Joe,

To find out property ownership you can go to the City's website and access the GIS mapping. The GIS maps will show individual lots and you can click on each lot to get information including ownership. Our maps are tied to the Denton and Colin County CADs. The problem that you may run into is that many big box retailers lease their site from a commercial developer rather than own the property. Leases will not show up on the property records. Not all big box retailers do this but many do.

Damon,

It is not unusual for marketing locations and including information that may not be correct in order to build interest in a particular site. To date we have not received any applicaton for a plat or site plan that would include a CostCo on the corner indicated in one of the drawings on the weblink. It is interesting to note that the first drawing shows it but the following drawing does not.

What is being built across the street from Home Depot on Eldorado?

Thanks

James,

The construction is for a new apartment complex called Alta Frisco.
