Are there any estimated dates for construction to begin?

And, are the site plans posted online anywhere?

Mr. Brown,

Please accept our apologies for the delay in getting back to you regarding your questions about the skateboard park construction that will be taking place at the Northeast Community Park.

The design consultant for the park was just chosen by the City Council earlier this month. These consultants will be working directly with the design firm for the skateboard as they begin design and construction plans for the park.

It is expected that this design work will continue for the next 6-8 months and we are hopeful that construction of the park, including athletic fields and other associated development of the park, including the skateboard board park will begin in late 2015 or early 2016.

That construction will likely take approximately one year to complete, once begun.

Should you have any additional questions regarding the development of the park, please let me know.

Thanks again for your interest in the park.

Best Regards,
