Are there any plans to add a right turn deceleration lane on Westbound Stonebrook turning North onto 4th Army? As I recall a deceleration lane was part of the master plan back when Cotton Gin was going to be a divided roadway. The deceleration lane would be integrated into the construction of the Northbound lanes of Cotton Gin as those lanes were built. Cotton Gin at Stonebrook was reclassified as a smaller roadway (and renamed 4th Army) and the Northbound lanes were removed from the plans (along with the accompanying deceleration lane). Is there a plan to add a deceleration lane at this location? The intersection at 4th Army is the only crossroad on West Stonebrook that does not have a deceleration lane.

The City does not have any current plans to add a deceleration/right turn lane on westbound Stonebrook Pkwy at 4th Army. The turn lane will be required to be constructed by the developer at the time the property on the northeast corner of this intersection is developed.
