Long time Frisco Resident here. I got a notice from an Attorney, from San Antonio, for the violation of Red Light Camera in Frisco, asking to pay 100 dollar.
How do I know the letter is legit? The notice refer to a violation date that is almost 10 months
old, and it is asking me to send the payment, in the address (business address in Frisco) which does seems like any of the Frisco municipal address.
Also which concerns me a little to I dint receive anything from any of the City of Frisco departments for the violation, and suddenly the letter from the attorney's office which is referring to a 10 months old violation.
I did some internet search, I dint find anything in the web, about where to send the payment or any web site where I can find more info about the violation.
Any info will be much appreciated, And I 'll rather like to deal with Frisco City than any other 3rd party, provided there are so many identity thefts happening with 3rd party's involvement.

American Traffic Solutions is our Vendor for our Red Light Camera violations. They handle everything from mailing out the notices to collecting the money. This violator should have received a first and a second notice by mail. There is however a possibility that he did not get either of the notices because he has moved and perhaps they did not get forwarded. However he should have received a violation number on the collections notice he received and we could look into that. He can call and speak to anyone in Traffic at the Police Department. If he just wants to verify that the address for where payments are sent is legitimate, that address is 4760 Preston Rd Ste 244-308 Frisco,TX 75034. This is simply where the payments are collected here in Frisco and then forwarded on to ATS for processing.
