The ongoing construction at the intersection of Teel and The Trails Parkway (extending a reclaimed water line, I believe) now has a serious safety issue due to the dirt and materials piled up and blocking the view of cars approaching. By blocking all views from the northbound Teel left turn lane (onto The Trails Parkway) it is no longer possible to make a safe northbound left turn on to The Trails without a green arrow (which at this light is hard to come by). The view is blocked by several dozen large pipes and a 10' high pile of dirt in the median of Teel to the North of the intersection. This situation has existed for the past few days.
This afternoon there was a serious multi-vehicle accident (multiple police and fire units called) that appeared it could be related to this visibility issue. Perhaps you can check with the contractor, to make sure they close the inside (fast) southbound lane to ensure there is a better chance cars will see one another.

The northbound car making the left turn hit a car that was south bound on the outside lane of Teel. The pile of dirt was not 10 feet high; only 3 feet so it did not impair visibility or cause accident. Even so, the contractor has knocked the pile of dirt down.
