With each passing day I'm excited to see this new part come to life. The playground equipment is in place and it looks like just finishing touches are needed.

I'm assuming that grass will be seeded and not laid with sod, is this correct?

When the part is ready how will we know? All the construction equipment gone? Will there be a celebration? etc?

When do we expect it to be completed?

Thanks,
Todd

Todd,

Thank you for your note about the Tuscany Meadows neighborhood park. Grass has been seeded and some has grown while other areas are still coming up. You bring up a good point about how the residents know when the park is open. In the past we have had small celebration for the openings but due to minimal turn out we have discontinued that.

At this point, we do not have a good method for letting the residents officially know when the park is open for use. We are looking to add a construction sign that will be placed at future park construction projects and among other things will state that the park is officially open and accepted by the City once the sign is removed.

At this point, the only way we may have to alert people to the opening of the park would be to ask the HOA to send out notification through their e-mail list.
