I see trees marked along Legacy north of 121. Is this for construction that will happen? Legacy is becoming wose each day.. are there any plans to fix the slanted sections of concrete now?

There is no schedule to widen Legacy to 6 lanes between Warren and SH121. The current daily traffic volume in this area is approximately 28,000 vehicles per day. A four lane divided road, such as what exists today, can typically support up to around 40,000 vehicles per day before levels of service are significantly diminished. It is unknown if or when the traffic volume on Legacy will reach capacity with the current pavement lanes. In addition, there are other road projects under design or construction in this area of the city that will increase overall capacity and may positively affect volumes on Legacy. One example is Stonebrook Parkway between the DNT and Legacy. This is under construction and will be opened by early 2015, and will provide direct access to the DNT from Legacy and Stonebrook from the west.
