I have Vonage as my phone provider and I live in the city of Frisco. With Vonage you can call 933 and it will tell you have if you have E911 or Standard 911.
When I call 933 it tells me that I have E911 and that when I call 911 my phone number and address will be forwarded to my local 911 office (or something like that).
So I know I can't test this, but can you confirm that Vonage customers who call 911 their phone number and address is given to the 911 officer who answers?

The short answer is yes, your address and number should be displayed. Yes, you can test it but we ask that you follow these directions.
You must first register your 911 with Vonage, otherwise it may come to the non-emergency number or to no emergency services number at all.
Then contact Frisco Dispatch on the non-emergency number at 972-292-6011. Inform them that you are wanting to test your 911 service. They will then have you call 911. They will verify your information. If it does not come to 911, you will have to start the process over with Vonage. If it does come tthrough 911 and any information is incorrect they will complete a form to get the corrections resolved.
