What is being built East of MeadowCreek and West of The Trails? Just North of the new retirement home on Main.

Kristin,

The work that you see is for the second phase of Meadow Creek which will extend from the first phase of Meadow Creek on the west to connect with the The Trails on the east. There will be a street connection at Talley Lane.

Kristin,

We do not know who the builder(s) will be in that development until someone applies for a building permit. The plat does not show any common area for use as a park or amenity center.

Hi,
Do we please know the builder name yet? As figured from the last post - looks like there will not be a common area in 2nd phase of meadow creek. Do we have plan for any other common area around the community?

Sunil,

We have not received any applications for bulding permits for this phase of the development. We do not know who the builder or builders will be in this phase. There will not be any common area with this project. The only common areas in the vicinty belong to other HOAs or are City parks.

Hello,

Who is actually responsible for deciding whether or not a common area is to be included in a project? Is it the builder, city or HOA? I'd like to see if there is anything we can do with a portion of the land in the greenbelt on the north-side of this neighborhood.

Thanks!!

Kevin,

Unless it is part of a townhome or patio home development the City does not require open space for a single family residential development. If open space is to be provided typically it is decided by the developer of the project. There may be a request from the Parks Department for a new park site but this is done in the early stages of plat review and not after a subdivision has been approved.

Alex,

We have not received any applications for building permits for this phase. Until we receive an application we do not know who the builders will be. I would suggest that you contact the developer who has signed up the builders for the development.
