My neighbor's teenage son is attempting to build a water fountain in their front yard. It is a huge ugly mound of rocks. Some of my other neighbors have complained to our management company. I spoke with them today. I was told that there has been many complaints and that a letter will be sent to them asking them to remove it. Could the city of Frisco intervene and help the situation? Can a homeowner display anything they want to in front of their home or in their front yard, even though it is gaudy and a big mess? Are homeowners limited in the size of their decoration(s) or handmade monument they want to display.

Building Inspections requires the issuance of a permit prior to construction of a fountain or other building modification at a residential property. To report construction concerns, please contact Building Inspections at (972) 292-5338 or Code Enforcement at (972) 292-5302.
