Everywhere you look new housing developments are going up or being planned and yet we are on Stage 3 water restrictions before summer even starts. It seems we cannot even support the current number of residents let alone add tens of thousands. What is the reasoning behind this?

We are taking all water conservation measures into consideration during time. Frisco joins its neighbors and other member cities of the North Texas Municipal Water District by moving to Stage 3 water restrictions and employing similar response strategies.
NTMWD has a long range water supply plan that will meet future needs through 2060.
