There is construction underway on Panther Creek Rd between Hawkins and FM 423. The sign says "Future Site of Sewage Treatment Plant owned and operated by the City of Frisco". Can you provide any information on this facility and when it will open? Do homeowners who live close to this site have reason for concern?

This state-of-the-art sewage treatment facility is scheduled to open in January, 2008. The facility will be owned and operated by the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD). No problems are anticipated during normal operations to create concern for residents. You may contact the NTMWD for additional information at 972-442-5405. Thanks for your inquiry.
