Is there any city ordinance on when construction can begin during the day? We had trucks pulling up at about 5 am on Hillcrest north of Eldorado Pwky and last Saturday at 7am we have 18 wheelers pulling into our community at the rate of 1 every 5 mins.

Please refer to this post.

The noise from driving a vehicle would be difficult to enforce through this ordinance unless the vehicle was actively involved in construction and not just driving on the street.

What are the legal hours for construction workers to work on the new elementary school in the Trails of West Frisco? They are starting before 7 am and working past 8pm and are within 200 feet of residences.

As in the post above, the hours are before 7am or after 10pm. The ordinance states that if its within 500 feet of a residence it may be a noise disturbance at other times. This is a very difficult portion to try and enforce. If the noise is too much, call 972.335.5505 and an officer will be sent out. The officer may be able to meet with the construction personnel and ask that they cease their operation.
