The current school crosswalk markings on North County Road between Main and Meadow Hill are not working with motorists. I usually observe 90% of the drivers ignoring the students standing on the sidewalk waiting to cross. The brick walkways look good but apparently drivers need more than the large sign above the walkway to remind them to stop for the students.
As the weather gets colder the students are probably going to want to dash across the street to get to their warm home. What can the City of Frisco do to insure their safety?

We will review the crossings to see if further markings are warranted.
