Does the city have an upcoming Tree giveaway program this year or sometime in the near future? I believe there was one such held last year. How can I the updates regarding this?

The Frisco Parks Department, together with the Frisco Urban Forestry Board, distributed 5-gallon hardwood trees to Frisco residents in various neighborhoods last November, and again in April. This was made possible through a grant from the Texas Forest Service called "NeighborWoods". The grant project has been completed and there are currently no plans for additional distributions.
