Does Frisco have a building Standards Commission? There are some things about my house that I don't believe are compliant with the building code, but the builder has refused to fix them. My private building inspector told me to file a complaint with Chief Building Inspector and present a case before the commission. Would that be the proper method in Frisco?

Doug: The City of Frisco does not have a Building Standards Commission. There is a Board of Appeals, where decisions of the Building Offical can be appealed. If you will send your complaints to me at: City of Frisco, 6859 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, 75034, I will try to get any code issues resolved. If you would prefer to call, my number is 972-335-5580 ext. 152.
