What are people experiencing in the way of waiting times to receive a building permit from the City of Frisco? All of the paperwork has been submitted to the builder (Mercedes) for our new home at Grayhawk, and we were told to expect to wait 60-75 days before Frisco would approve the permit. Is this pessimism (under promise, over deliver) or reality? Is the city of Frisco that backed up due to any backlog that occured when builder's requirements changed in May? Thanks for the insight.

At the present time, a permit application takes approximately 6 days to turn around. This time frame varies according to the number of applications, how complete the applications are, etc. If plans are not complete, it will take longer. If you will call 972-335-5580 ext.185, and give the address, we can check your submittal.
