Is there a place in Frisco that accepts cash for cans? If not, does anyone know where the closest place is? We've been to the one in Plano, but it's very out of the way. We need to get rid of our cans!!

So sorry but we do not have an aluminum can bank in Frisco. The closest one is in Plano in the parking lot in front of Walmart on Park Boulevard and Preston Road. For high volume drop off you can take your cans to Almetco , 709 N.Cowan, Lewisville (972)-221-7442.They also accept a wide range of other materials such as copper, steel and old appliances such as refrigerators and freezers. Unlike our bulk waste pick up the latter do not need to be freon free.
Are their any plans to put one in Frisco? If the equipment is managed well and the refunds given in a timely manner with property well maintained I see no reason why we shouldn't have one in the neighborhood. Unfortunately it has been my observation that this is generally not the case.

Thank you for recycling and don't forget if you change your mind about the drive you can always recycle them curbside or at our Recycling Center located at 6726 Walnut Street. Hours of Operation Monday - Saturday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Environmental Services Manager.
