I noticed the Preston overpass was not open today (10/12) as stated previously on street signs. Looks like the date has been changed to 10/18. Just curious as to what caused the delay.

Preston was originally scheduled to be open in November; however, the contractor has been working to get it open early and set a target date of October 12. The contractor had to temporarily move most of their forces to Parkwood in order to meet a Thanksgiving opening at the Parkwood intersection. The rain we had did cause some delay as well.
