In my subdivision, there are quite a few rental homes and some homes that are under foreclosure that have dead trees in the front yards that have never been occupied but sold.
How long do the owners have before they need to replace the tree?
They could keep saying they will replace them in the spring but never do it.

Unfortunately, this situation is found throughout the city. Our staff landscape architects are contacting property owners of record to have the trees replaced as soon as possible. Now that we are going into the fall planting season there really is no excuse for getting trees replaced. If the trees are not replaced within the time period provided by the landscape architects, the case will be turned over to Code Enforcement for their review.
If you are aware of specific sites I would ask that you please email the addresses so they can be turned over to the landscape architects. Thank you.
